I made these Organza flowers with Organza Fabric and the Sizzix Circles Die.

I followed this great Youtube video. You can also do this with satin fabric and tulle.

So much fun to make.

It has been a ruff couple of weeks. Kids with ear infections, tough life decisions to be made, & etc. etc. But there is a quote that has made me smile a few times and I thought maybe someone else may need it to. So I thought I would share.

I know I am horrible at keeping this up to date but who knew that raising 2 kids and running 2 websites would be so time consuming!! LOL :)!

But TONS of stuff going on!!

Sizzix has come out out with a TON of amazing stuff.

And Discontinued a ton also.

They just release a discontinued list for December 2008.

Some of the stuff they have discontinued was released in October 2008.

I have added some things to the website that are definitely worth mentioning. It now has a Clearance section.

And I have also pick up another line of dies - Bosskuts.

These dies are amazingly cute and work with most all die cutting machines.

Also, the Quickutz December 2008 releases are just Beautiful!!

They are very elegant!! Here is a sneak peek!!

I have some amazing pictures I want to post of some cards that my very creative mom made to show off what the new Sizzix XL Embosslits can do.

I will get those posted in the next day or two.

If you have not checked out the website lately there is all kinds of new stuff. And I am adding daily!!

First things first, August Sizzix are in!! Tons of new dies!!

My Favorite is the Sea Animals Sizzlits Set!! Too Cute!!

I have also add the very hard to find Lego Land Block Party Collection of paper!! These are so awesome!! They are Glossy and embossed! Exactly like legos!! Also I have the matching brads by Eyelet Outlet.

I have been seeing a lot of stuff with Shrink Film!! I am going to add some to the site next week. I hope to have sometime to play with it and post the results.

Plus, More Skittles!!! Lots of New colors!!

Over the next Month I will slowly be adding the September and October Sizzix Releases!! All I can say is WOW!! It is sooooo much stuff and it is all so cute!! Tons & Tons of Halloween & Christmas!!! So keep checking in.

This layout was fun. I finally got to use my Skittles (Dew Drops)! These are so much fun are these and they come in every color you can imagine!!

I did the title with the Sizzix Skittle Dee Do Alphabet Border strip!! I did the bubbles with clear dew drops and the duck is a brad by Eyelet Outlet (Brads & Skittles are available at www.thescrapbookhut.com).

She's So Berry Sweet!!

I FINALLY had sometime to scrapbook. And yes it has been 3 months!! So sad, I know. Anyway, here is the lastest!! My precious baby just turned one. She is growing up so fast!!

This one is called:

She's so Berry Sweet

On this layout there were a couple fun key elements. I hand cut the strawberry and did all the shading with chalk and for the seeds I used little black seed beads.

For all the accents I used the

New April Release Sizzix Bigz Die

"Decorative Accent w/ Flower"

The flowers are a mixture of Prima Obbsessions, Fancies & Espirits. Each attached with a different fancy brad. The brad with the strawberry is from the Nana's Nursery Baby Girl Collection!!

And it doesn't hurt the layout that she is so cute!!!

Well the website is coming along. Slowly but surely! It is looking good. I did the logo and we hired a Zen Cart Designer to do the template. I couldn't do this with out Nick. He is a God sent. He is taking care of EVERYTHING behind the scenes. I just make everything look pretty!! I have always been good at that. LOL!

Precious Baby Girl

I Spent hours on this layout. It was a real challenge because Haley is wearing lavender

and Nick is wearing Bright red. The B Monogram & the footprint is a sticker by We r Memory Keepers that I embellished and layered with pop dots. I hand sewed the buttons on the layered Prima flowers and the swirls were made by the Sizzix Scribbles Swirls Sizzlit. The scalloped photo corners were made by my Quickutz Silhouhette.

The ribbon across the frame is Basic Grey and a plain sheer pink ribbon. The heart holding the charm is a Queen & Co. Bling Ring.

Chronically Happy

This lay out was so much fun. I used my Sizzix Swirly Border for the black swirls. Other products I used were Doodlebug Jewels & Sugar Coated Brads, Prima Flowers, & Bo Bunny Card Stock Stickers.

The journal spot reads: "Two words to describe Haley at 7 Months are Chronically Happy!!"

Wow! I didn't think it would be this hard to find time for this. So much has happened in the last few weeks!!!

The biggest is that I am now the proud owner of the Domain name: The Scrapbook Hut and my online store of is in the works. What an accomplishment!!

My beach trip was awesome! We had a blast! I only got 3 layouts done but they are very detailed.

Sizzix March 2008 Releases are on there way and should be in next week. Talk about some awesome stuff!!!!

Hi to all,

I am starting a blog to keep friends & customers up to date on all the latest scrapbooking trends and products. I specialize in Sizzix Dies. I always have the newest releases and tons of hard to find retired dies. Through this blog I hope to be able to keep everyone informed and also be able to share my own work, ideas and maybe even sketches. Right now I am looking forward to a girl friends scrapbooking weekend and Winter CHA is February 11, 12 & 13. Can't wait to see all the fun new stuff.
